They will likely add one once the game officially launches. It has been confirmed that there will not be a premium membership in the Early Access period. It was announced in October 2021, and had an Early Access period in January 2022. Prodigy English will offer Common Core-aligned language content for grades 1 to 6, and reading content for grades 3 to 6. There are different tabs in the inventory, labeled "items," "outfits," and "tools." These include what can be assumed to be wood, clothes, supply crates, furnishes, and blueprints. There is an inventory system where the player can store the items that they have found. Unlike its math counterpart, Prodigy English appears to have no storyline involved with it, and is more of a sandbox game similar to Animal Crossing, Minecraft, or Gardenscapes. These include the Axe, Pickaxe, Shovel, and Fishing Rod. The player will have different tools that they can use.
They answer questions to gain energy, which can be used to do tasks in the game. The player is a character tasked with creating a village.
